The 4″ Surgebuster fits tanks with 5″ lids. Surge Buster® is a patented anti-surge system that works differently from conventional baffles. Instead of blocking surge and transferring it through the tank to the truck, Surge Buster dissipates the energy inside the tank. According to the manufacturer, it eliminates up to 96% of surge in any liquid load and can reduce vehicle maintenance costs by 30–40%.

How Many Do I Need?

Use the Surgebuster Tank Calculation Chart to find the right quantity for your tank. When installed, the system should appear ½ to ¾ full in the tank. Don’t use more or fewer than required.
